We had a wonderful time at the GWTA shows and our visit to CA. After the shows, we had a delicious dinner hosted by Jill and Peter See at their home. We continued our drive up the CA coast...enjoying the scenery, the weather and a two delightful days at Hearst Castle and the quaint town of Solvang. Notice the jackets Sharon and Carolyn are wearing. When we left the east coast temperatures were in the mid 90"s, when we arrived in CA it was a bit too cool for us...at least for the clothes we brought. The WTC of Southern CA was selling these nice pullovers embroidered with a Welsh Terrier.

Group Ring at GWTA
A very big thank you to the Welsh Terrier Club of Southern CA for their gracious hospitality. The hospitality tent was a wonderful place for all Welsh Terrier lovers to gather. The club provided a delicious lunch both days. I would encourage every one to attend this beautiful show. Almost every ring has a view of the water.

We are BACK!!
If you check in on our website you have probably noticed very little news or activity in over a year. I have been undergoing a year of medical treatments and simply haven't been able to keep you posted. Everything, thanks to Sharon, her dear husband Bob and other friends and family members, has continued on. We had several litters last year and a very successful Montgomery County weekend. A Spyder son, Ch Shaireab's Celyn I Kid You Not (Josh), was Best of Breed winner at Westminster this year. Another Spyder son was Best of Breed winner at the National Specialty and AKC Eukanuba dog show. Spyder, Ch Bayleigh Shaireab's Super Hero, now has a new co owner, Marilyn Jacobs of Foxbriar Kennels of CA. Spyder is now being handled by Marilyn's handler, Jorge and Susie Olivera of Phoenix, AZ. Spyder is the #1 Welsh Terrier in the country. So far, Jorge and Spyder have won 5 all breed Best in Shows and 2 Best in Specialty Shows in 2010.
We are off to dog shows in CA this week. Will keep you posted.
Check back and take care,
Keith
