Best of Breed at National Speciality Show
For Sharon and I, Spyder's (GCH Bayleigh Shaireab's Super Hero) win at the Montgomery County Kennel Club, the National Speciality Show for the Welsh Terrier Club of America, is a dream come true! Spyder is a multiple Best in Show winner, multiple Best in Speciality Show winner, top producer of top winning Welsh Terriers and most importantly the sire of healthy companions with delightful temperaments. As breeders, this win has been a goal we have strived to attain.
A special thank you to Judge Nancy O"Neal, breeder of the most successful Welsh Terrier( Ch Anasazi's Billy the Kid) in our club's history. Billy won more than 100 BIS. It is especially nice to be recognized by such an esteemed authority and breeder of Welsh Terriers.
Marilyn Jacobs of Foxbriar Kennels has made this incredible year for Spyder possible. Thank you again Marilyn and Jorge!!

Sharon and I on our way to the Birthday Celebration
What a special weekend we had! Sharon had a special "big decade" birthday party, 4 days of dog shows and our good friend, Mat Smeet, was visiting from the Netherlands. Mat's dog, Heartbreaker of the Southern Point (Rick) has been with us for the past year. This weekend we got to watch 3 of Rick's daughters make their debut in the show ring.

MCKC National Speciality Show
We have had another wonderful year! Spyder, GCH Bayleigh Shaireab's Super Hero, was the first Welsh Terrier to become a grand champion, he is the #1 Welsh Terrier both in all breed and breed points, has been awarded Best in Show 14 times (the only Welsh Terrier to win BIS in the US in 2010), is a multiple Best in Speciality winner, won both Welsh Terrier Club of America speciality shows. His sons are multiple group winners. Between his sons they have won BOB at MCKC 2009, the AKC Eukanuba show 2009 and Westminster Kennel Club 2010. His son, Ch Darwyn's Webslinger of Canada, was awarded a BIS in Canada in Oct and another son, Shaireab's Bayleigh Ticket to Ride of Estonia, has multiple BIS placements. Spyder has accomplished all of the above at the young age of 3.
Montgomery County Kennel Club show on Oct 10, 2010 was the 110th anniversary of the Welsh Terrier Club of America. It was an absolutely glorious fall day in PA. The weather and show were spectacular. Shaireabs - Bayleigh Welsh Terriers had a wonderful showing. Spyder, GCH Bayleigh Shaireab's Super Hero was Best of Breed, Tommy, Ch Bayleigh Shaireab's Pinball Wizard, was Winners Dog. Ch Bayleigh Shaireab's Play On, Player, was Reserve Winners Dog. (Player left on Oct 11 for Bogota, Colombia. He went BIS junior and BIS group placement at his first show in South America..visit our news section for photos and videos). Our adorable baby girl, Eiley, Bayleigh Shaireab's First Call, was Reserve Winners Bitch from the 9 -12 month class. Shaggy, our most recent import, was Best in Sweepstakes with his co owner, Daniel Galvis handling. A special thank you to Daniel and his wife for allowing Shaggy to join us.
I hope you are enjoying the Halloween photo on the home page. Both puppies, Mackie and Lacey, are Fancy's (Ch Shaireab's Bayleigh So Fine) kids. Tommy, this year's winners dog, is also a Fancy son. Please continue to send photos of your puppies.
Hope to keep the website more current!
Stay tuned.

Carolyn, Keith and Sharon visiting Hearst Castle
We had a wonderful time at the GWTA shows and our visit to CA. After the shows, we had a delicious dinner hosted by Jill and Peter See at their home. We continued our drive up the CA coast...enjoying the scenery, the weather and a two delightful days at Hearst Castle and the quaint town of Solvang. Notice the jackets Sharon and Carolyn are wearing. When we left the east coast temperatures were in the mid 90"s, when we arrived in CA it was a bit too cool for us...at least for the clothes we brought. The WTC of Southern CA was selling these nice pullovers embroidered with a Welsh Terrier.
